 What is the near-term future for the USAF GeoBase Initiative? The term 'initiative' is significant. The GeoBase concept must grow beyond IITA if it is to become an integral part of the USAF information culture. Therefore, the urgent near term goal of IITA is to seek a more stable, long-term operational role for the GeoBase. Currently, senior Air Staff leaders are evaluating where to situate the USAF GeoBase concept and maximize its benefit to the USAF. In the meantime, IITA will continue to reach out to those USAF mission elements with vested interests in gaining access to a virtual map of the local mission space so their requirements may also be included in future GeoBase plans. « Return to FAQ List diabetes type 2 |
