 Our organization is already pursuing a CADD/GIS solution. How can I ensure our direction is aligned with wherever the USAF GeoBase Initiative may lead in the near future? Carefully review the twelve GeoBase Foundations noted earlier. Should the USAF GeoBase process become Air Force policy, there is a very high probability the policy will be based on these 12 precepts. Even if there is no formal policy developed, the GeoBase Foundations simply reflect sound information resource management guidance already prescribed by federal or defense guidance.
